Sharon says of her beloved "Sunny":

"He was a wonderful show dog and a wonderful pet to our family.  He helped me baby sit the grand babies (twins) for the first 3 years of their lives.  He loved them and they loved him and these were the first children, (I guess that I should say babies) that he had ever been around. He never had a grumpy word for them.

It has been said of Sunny that "Few dogs have contributed to the breed the way he did and his influence will be felt for decades to come - his champion producing record will be hard to beat." "Sunny was truly one of a kind, his stature is unmatched. His impact will live on for many generations. One need but look at his many stunning off-spring. He was a "setter" of the Standard. This great dog has left his mark on many dogs and this surely will be a reminder to all what a great dog he was."
